Scrub A Dub Dub!
For Christmas this year, money was a little tight, so, I decided to try my hand at some home-made Christmas gifts. For my sister and my friends I made some great facial and body scrubs. Most all of the ingredients I found in my kitchen, without even having to go to the store. I made vanilla, cinnamon, and peppermint scrubs, each one slightly different from the last.
I found the recipes for the peppermint scrub at this great blog, but I honestly added the ingredients, until the consistency of the scrub was to my liking. The main ingredients were sugar, olive oil, peppermint extract for the peppermint scrub, vanilla extract for the vanilla scrub, and then cinnamon and a little brown sugar for the cinnamon scrub. Then, I added a small amount of food coloring for the peppermint and cinnamon scrubs.
After filling mason jars with each scrub, I found these great labels on this great blog, Tip Junkie , that allow you to download and print each label for free, add a little twine for a bow, and presto, great gifts for any occasion!

Hi World,
My name is Holly and I love everything from design, fashion, cooking, and everything in between! I have a small jewelry business Dandy Boutique, and I create custom accessories for one of a kind pieces for my clients. I decided, because my interests go so much further than jewelry, that I would create this blog to share my designs, findings, and experiences! So, take a look around and enjoy!
xoxo,
Holly Ann
My birthday is coming up Dandy.
I know mama!
